For the final assessment for Copywriting & Radio we got the chance to record an ad in a professional studio with a voice actor (as I discussed here). The experience was incredibly rewarding for the whole class as we finished the trimester with a polished radio ad to add to our folios.
Working off the existing concept of ‘I Wish I Had a Samsonite’, I wanted to convey the luxury and exclusivity of Samsonite’s luggage range effectively. The radio ad I scripted plays off the boarding announcement calls that are so relatable to anyone who flies regularly and shows that Samsonite customers are in a class of their own.
